Kurozangawa is made by creating an uneven surface on domestic black wagyu leather and repeatedly hand-applying lacquer. The luster of the lacquer on the raised parts is so beautiful, like scattered tiny diamond particles, that it's also called "the black diamond of leather."
Kurozangawa also won the first-ever Japanese award at an international material exhibition, receiving a flood of requests from high-end brands worldwide. It is truly "Samurai Leather" with extremely high international acclaim.

By cutting the bottom part of the gusset, bills can be stored deep inside, achieving a size just right for 10,000 yen bills. *Design registered
The vertical card pockets are designed so that cards do not overlap, keeping the wallet thin.
The card pockets also act as dividers, allowing for bill sorting.

Our products are handcrafted with care by artisans at our Kyoto workshop.
We also offer repair services in-house. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns.
Our workshop has staff with Leather Sommelier qualifications on-site.
