Enjoy the elegant gradation of this mini wallet, dyed like a kimono by a craftsman in Kyoto.
We applied "boke dye," a technique also used in dyeing kimonos, to the surface of the leather. Craftsmen meticulously hand-dye each piece of leather to achieve a sophisticated gradation.

Because the leather we use is a natural material that retains the original characteristics of the animal's skin, such as scars, wrinkles, and blood vessels, no two pieces will ever be exactly the same in appearance or quality.

While we remove any obvious imperfections during the inspection process, please understand that these are characteristics unique to natural leather.

COTOCUL is a coined word combining "Koto" (ancient capital) and "culture," reflecting our desire to promote Kyoto's culture and the best of Japan through manufacturing. We value the Japanese mindset and character in approaching manufacturing.
Each product is handcrafted with care by artisans in a workshop in Kyoto.
We also offer repair services in-house. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
We have staff members with Leather Sommelier certification permanently stationed in our workshop.
