This product uses Italian shrink leather, characterized by its embossed texture. The excellent color and soft, supple texture typical of Italian leather enhance the value of the product.
Because a water repellent is applied during the finishing process, this leather is characterized by its higher water resistance than ordinary leather. COTOCUL is a coined word combining "Koto" (ancient capital) and "culture," reflecting our desire to promote Kyoto's culture and the best of Japan through manufacturing. We value the Japanese attitude and temperament toward manufacturing.
Each product is handcrafted with care by artisans in a workshop in Kyoto.
We also offer repairs in-house. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
We have staff members with Leather Sommelier certification permanently stationed in our workshop.
