What is "Kurozan Leather"?

White-tanned Japanese black beef is given a rough texture and then lacquer is applied by hand over and over again. Rather than dividing the work into separate tasks, Sakamoto Shoten produces the entire process from tanning to processing. The gloss and volume of the lacquer is created by applying multiple layers, and it is so beautiful that it is called "black diamond leather."
